This is a story of heartache, emotional pain, and the bravery of forgiveness. The theme was inspired by a real-life couple who touched me profoundly with their struggle for love, but everything about this story is fictional. I hope you’ll enjoy Kristi and Jake’s story as much as the joy I got from writing it.
